The role of the Member Support Coordinator is to:
Provide information and assistance to members in accessing both DVA and non-DVA health and support services that are available in the community.
Assist members to access healthy lifestyle programs and activities available in the community.
Assist members to access information about the full range of DVA benefits, pensions and allowances.
In particular, the Member Support Coordinator is available to assist members with:
Welfare and social advice and support.
Pension and advocacy representation and advice.
Transport and mobility assistance advice.
Home security, maintenance, lawn and garden maintenance advice and assistance through local contractors.
Hospital, nursing home and home visiting.
