About the Women's Auxiliary

The sub-branch has a strong and happy Women’s Auxiliary, now with 29 members. They give valuable support to the sub-branch by catering for the ever-popular morning teas and the Drop Ins held every Wednesday morning. They also assist with the catering for other special functions at the Sub Branch including the Christmas Lunch.  While the auxiliary has no need to do fund-raising of its own, it provides welcome assistance to sub-branch fund-raising by twice a year selling ANZAC Badges and Remembrance Poppies from a stall site kindly provided in front of Woolworth's in Sherwood Rd, Sherwood.  Many hands make light work so the auxiliary is always happy to welcome new members.  New members don’t need any particular connection with the RSL as the only qualification required is a willingness to join in.
